There were fewer deliveries today, fortunate in the heat. Some more brochures for Edinburgh Arts Festival were taken to Talbot Rice Gallery, cured meat to the Whiski Rooms, and tea to the Witchery, which was gratefully received by all witches, regardless of gender.

A free driving lesson was also handed out on the correct use of a car horn. The lucky winner learned that beeping does not, in fact, make the cyclist in front go faster, nor does it induce in the said cyclist a willingness to move aside. A valuable lesson which I’m sure the participant will treasure for years to come and result in better driving. </sarcasm>
