Our Courier Services

Delivery within Edinburgh (see the map below) is our core business! We will come and collect items from you to deliver elsewhere, or collect items from where they are now to where you need them to be. That includes:

  • Click and collect, whether that is from independent stores, John Lewis, or Ikea
  • Moving house (furniture can be difficult to fit on a cargo bike, but we may surprise you!)
  • Challenge us!

For standard parcel deliveries, you can order delivery directly from us on our parcel delivery product page. If you want us to deliver a double door fridge freezer from John Lewis, or you have multiple deliveries to different locations, getting in touch with us first by email on hello@cadi.scot may make the process run more smoothly.

We also offer services to businesses, for example:

  • Getting your products to your customers
  • Moving goods between sites
  • Collections or returns

Prices

We price items for delivery within the core area by weight and volume, according to the table below, arranged at least 24 hours in advance. Deliveries to and/or from the extended area are priced on a case-by-case basis currently, but are largely based on the prices for the core area with a distance based surcharge added to account for the extra time required to make these deliveries. High priority or last minute deliveries (less than 24 hours notice) also attract a surcharge.

Edinburgh Tool Library and Library of Things

Our friends at the ETL and the Library of Things are helping people to get access to high quality and specific tools, items and equipment when needed in a financially accessible way, while reducing the impact of excessive manufacturing by enabling sharing and reuse. We think this is really important, and to support them we are offering simpler, reduced prices for deliveries of borrowed library items in the vicinity of ELoT’s current location on Balfour Street and the ETL branch at Meadowbank. For deliveries outwith the coloured areas indicated on the map below, the standard prices in the General Deliveries section above apply.
